Can you give us a bit of background on yourself? When did you join EY, where were you prior to joining, current role, etc.?
I joined EY in August 2019 as a campus hire from Emory University. I’m currently a staff in CGP Digital Transformation - Strategy and Product Management and working on innovation strategy engagements. Before this, I worked in digital marketing at Mailchimp, graphic design for a social impact incubator, and organized hackathons (HackATL) at Emory.
You have NYC as your home office, has New York always been home for you? If not, what is something that surprised you about the city? And something you just can’t get here like you used to back home?
So proud to call NYC home now, but Bangkok has been my home for my entire life! I was born and raised in Thailand and only came to the US for college. New York actually reminds me a lot of home - very busy, kinda messy, and nobody would have it any other way.
Fortunately, you can find pretty good Thai food all over Manhattan, so I always have a place to go for my weekly fix of Tom Yum. Too bad each meal here is $13+ instead of $2.
Any projects outside of work that you are working on at the moment? Hobbies, interests?! Also feel free to use this question to give a shout out to any pets!
I'm working on building my DJ career! Mostly spending my weekends working on new music / mixes and I'd love to play at a venue in the city someday. If anybody reading this is in this space, I would love to learn from you!!
What is something people don’t know about you because the right question hasn’t gotten around to you yet?
I'm trilingual - English, Thai, and Mandarin - and grew up learning different subjects three times in each of the languages. I guess I kind of did elementary, middle, and high school thrice?
Last question, you’re a karaoke game show, however instead of getting judged for your singing ability you get judged for how many members of the crowd sing along with you…What is your karaoke song?
