Can you tell us a little bit about how you ended up at EY?

When I first got involved with the firm in college, I was really plugged in with the FSO ITRA practice. I interned in IT Risk during the summer of 2015 and then started full-time in the FSO TAP program in August 2016. After a lot of headaches (and heartache) doing IT Audit and other not so fun projects, I finally found my home here in our practice.

If EY and being part of the digital team wasn’t your thing, what other job do you think you would be doing?.

There’s a slim (to none) chance I will ever do any of these things but my dream jobs are:

  1. To be Linda Fargo (The HBIC for Women’s fashion at Bergdorf Goodman)

  2. Creative Direction at MAC Cosmetics. I would love to plan and design of the the special collections

  3. I’d love to do Interior Design… a lot of plants everywhere.

You’re a big part of the success and running of our digital huddles on Fridays, how do you find organizing the huddle on top of your day-to-day activities?

When I first started helping with huddles, it was nerve wracking because I didn’t know anyone yet. I didn’t know what people were interested in and didn’t want attendees to feel like it was huddles were a waste of time. Now, I feel very at home within our group so it’s not much of a burden. I really enjoy doing it. As I’m sure you have noticed, we keep it very laid back which makes it feel like home. But, we’re always open to feedback and encourage people to let myself and Shawn know how we can make huddles better.

What song would you choose for to lead into huddle?

I feel like we’d have to switch it up every week. Maybe this is something we should explore for huddles…

But to kick off the first huddle, I’d play Money by Cardi B. We need that energy to start a Friday evening.

What are some artists you’ve been listening to lately?

So much of this playlist consists of the artists I always have on. A few other artists/groups I absolutely love are Santigold, Cardi B, Migos, Adele, Lykke Li, Il Volo, Ozuna, Jay Z. I like a little of everything.

Who is your favorite band or artist that you have seen live? Do you have a favorite venue?

I saw Drake in concert and he waved at me after the concert (feel free to ask me about the best day of my life). I don’t have a favorite venue but I would love to see an intimate concert at the Highline - I feel like it would be magic

If you could pick one song to describe your life, what would it be?

God’s Plan by Drake. It doesn’t describe my life, its definitely aspirational though - if I had cash like that to pass out, I don’t think I’d here doing this interview. Haha
